One time I saw a movie, that even is not so popular, changed my mind. I have always faced the same question: It is a routinary life worth the security or it is the adventure worth the risk?
The movie is called “Americano” and Joshua Jackson participates on it. Part of that movie, he says: “The story of your life is not your life… it´s your story”. This explains perfectly this post… because is not what you have lived roaming the world, it is certainly what you have experienced and the fingerprint it caused on your soul.
I have seen thousands of sights across the world… but I will always remember the sight of an old lady walking through Amsterdam, with even a single world shared a second of life with me.
I have seen (and forgetting to see) lots of night skies… but I will never forget the one in Talwara, perfectly painted with small clouds that reflected the light of the moon… and how that sky turn into a colorful art
I have smell different things, but the smell of cardamom will always take my soul back to Asia. As the popsanova rhytms can take me back to Bangkok or the electronic back to Ámsterdam
On the other hand, I can remember how small I felt one day in Delhi or how lonely I could be one night in Leiden… even others could see me as always they saw me.
It is not what you lived, it is what you keep with you…
Definitely, the memories are worth the risk
